Soller Cafe Life 1

The painting was finished last week in a wet and windy Soller! The Port was all but deserted as hotels, shops and bars started to take a Winter break with many closed till next year.

But the bright sunshine, people and scene still are but a recent memory and I embarked on series of cafe scene paintings with this being the first. I do not wish to advertise the venues which can be recognised by many but have been changed slightly with artistic licence!

It was demanding to take an image, introduce people, change some aspects and try to capture the venue and mood.
